Our Client is a specialty electronics design and integration company focusing on high end residential projects. In particular they specialize in the design, installation and maintenance of distributed audio and video systems, media rooms, lighting, shading and environmental controls as well as data, phone and video services infrastructure.
The role of a Audio Video Senior Installation Technician is to manage the day to day production and tasks on the jobsite per the Project Managers Direction. It is their role to relay information to respective departments within the company which will include Project Managers, Engineering, and Programming so that these departments can better prepare and plan success for the project. They will also be interacting with other trades on the job site, some of which include Electrical, HVAC, Pool/Spa, Lighting, Landscaping and General Contractors etc. The Senior Installation Technician will also interface with the Client or Client’s representatives to ensure the project is meeting their expectations in addition to the Project Manager.
Communicate with Project Manager regarding project deadlines and goals for the day and week.
Complete daily paperwork including work orders, inventory used documentation, inventory return to warehouse documentation.
Monitor inventory kept in work vehicle and re-stock materials as needed.
Direct Installation Technicians on the day’s tasks and ensure they are completed correctly.
Relay change order information to Project Manager to ensure changes are documented in a manner the company can collect on.
Coordinate with General Contractors and other trades to ensure our infrastructure and equipment will work with the sub systems and not interfere with their scope.
Relay any and all discrepancies to Project Management.
Coordinate with General Contractor as needed to maintain project schedules.
Coordinate with Client or Client’s representatives during various phases of the project to ensure project is meeting their expectations and relay any discrepancies to Project Management.
Coordinate with utilities (Phone/Data/TV) to ensure service is satisfactory and functional.
Complete assigned tasks with efficiency while maintaining quality assurance standards.
4+ years as an Install Technician in custom high-end residential Audio Video systems.
Proficient in Crestron, Savant, Lighting Systems (Lutron/Crestron/Vantage).
Proficient in digital video distribution systems.
Proficient in distributed audio systems.
Proficient in sub system integrations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to consistently seek out and acquire information.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced demanding environment.
Excellent customer services skills in high-pressure situations.
Ability to navigate quickly through obstacles as they arise.
Has a positive and can-do attitude.
Workmanship is consistent, error free and on time.
Ability to constantly create contingency plans as the project changes to minimize. unproductive periods of time.
Proficient with hand power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks and ventilation system.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 80 lbs.

$27.00 to $35.00 per hour. DOE.
