Our Client is looking for an individual with deep knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, preparing profit and loss statements, revenue recognition, progress billing, accounts payable/receivable and financial forecasting. Previous experience in accounting at a construction firm is strongly preferred along with knowledge of QuickBooks and Connectwise.
5 years previous accounting experience at a construction company.
Proven experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, ERP and accounting software (QuickBooks).
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Exhibit a proactive, service-oriented manner and ability to deal effectively with a diverse and demanding client (external and internal) base.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to coach, direct and supervise.
BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
$75,000 to $100,000 annual salary. DOE.
