This position is responsible for creating a consistent and reliable control program based on design documents generated by the engineering department. When questions or areas of concern arise they reach out to their team in a timely manner to request additional information in an effort to maintain deadlines. This individual will also create the user touch panel interface, tying in client specific branding to create a pleasing custom aesthetic that is both functional and intuitive.
Creation of project codebase and user interface.
Development of manufacturer specific modules.
Ability to work as a team while commissioning projects on client site.
Protection of project assets by regularly syncing development files back to company repository.
Provide technical support to service division, correct operational issues.
Participate in internal R&D projects.
Provide ideas back to software development team for new basic features for standard code use.
Crestron Master Programmer Certification.
UI Design – an understanding of what makes a good UI and how to go about creating it from scratch using image creation software (ie: Adobe Photoshop, etc) and various manufacturer’s development tools. Examples of past work are preferred to demonstrate these skills.
Code Creation – more than simply modifying existing code the candidate should feel confident in creating source code from scratch. They should be able to demonstrate how/why their codebase is scalable lending to an efficient workflow and resulting in high productivity.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training.
$85,000 to $125,000 Annual Salary. DOE.
