Our Bozeman, Montana based client is a leading technology design firm that procures and deploys high-end home and small enterprise networks, automation, audio video systems, lighting and shade control, security and surveillance, energy management systems and more.
Our Client is looking for an experienced Lead Technician who can provide consistent communication with Project Managers, other technicians, contractors, vendors, other internal departments, and clients and their representatives. This position is responsible for working with Project Managers and other technicians assigned to the project to ensure successful execution and completion of the project, particularly the finish phase.
Successfully execute and complete assigned projects through the finish phase.
Work directly with Project Managers and contractors to ensure all procedures are followed, correct materials are available when needed, and the client is satisfied with the project.
Install and service home automation systems, including AV, lighting, shades, and security.
Assist junior technicians with tasks, when needed, due to training gaps or time constraints.
Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the Production Manager.
2-3+ years hands-on experience in the AV industry, preferably as a technician.
Formal education in the electrical or AV fields is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in wired and wireless networks.
Ability to shift attention among various tasks and complete each with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Strong written, verbal, and online communication skills.
